Seize the Deal, a group-buying discount site, needed a landing page layout that would instantly allow potential members to identify the product with their city, as well as call out the benefits of the service. Their previous campaign page was very generic, offering few clues to a visitor as to what the service did, and what the benefits of it were.
The new campaign pages provide a visitor with an instantly recognizable landmark associated with the target city, as well as very clearly calling out the benefits of the service. The new design also highlights features for potential advertisers, potentially turning visitors into partners.
Responsibilities
I was responsible for creating and implementing the campaign page design. This included wireframes and mockups, as well as coding the CSS and XHTML. I was also tasked with writing the Rails code to power the pages.
